Panel Testing
Carbon Copy Prints is 8 Panel Negative (GBED, HERDA, HYPP, LWO, MH, PSSM1, MYHM, & EJSCA). This means that he will pass a negative copy of each tested gene onto each of his foals. If your mare is 8 panel negative as well, the foal will be 8 panel negative by parentage.
Color Testing
Carbon Copy Prints is a Black Tobiano stallion. His color genetics are Ee aa TO/TO nd1/nd2. This means that every foal he produces is guaranteed to be tobiano. Carbon Copy Prints is also LWO negative, which means he is safe to breed to frame overo mares without the risk of a lethal white foal.
Foal Color Possibilities
The color of your Carbon Copy Prints foal depends on the genetics of both parents. Red (Chestnut/Sorrel) mares will have a black, bay, or red tobiano foal. Bay mares will have a black, bay, or red tobiano foal. Black mares will have a red or black tobiano foal.
